I assume you would call this a tunic. Long blouse. Asymmetrical hem blouse. Whatever you call it, I like it. I saw this top on the sale rack at Vertage during their blowout sale a couple of weeks ago and snagged using the 25% off coupon they had emailed me (that’s why it pays to be on your favorite store’s mailing lists!) for just $9.00! Score one for me! Plus it is versatile and can be styled for work or casually. Interesting note about Vertage: it is frequented mostly by LSU students so the majority of their clothes are purple and gold. That’s Baton Rouge for ya.
I also went out and did some shopping at the Old Navy outlet while they were having their Labor Day sale and snagged these dark wash skinny jeans and brown flats. I have never before now owned a paid of skinny jeans that actually fit and I bought myself (the other pair being too big/long and from a clothing swap). So I was really excited about these jeans. I have tried on many, many other pairs and usually avoid jean shopping since I always leave hating my thighs. But the sweetheart cut of these jeans is forgiving and flattering, they are the right length and hit at my ankle, and were on sale for $19.99. Yes, please.
These green Towne & Reese earrings are some of my favorites and I picked them up on a whim at Bliss when I was visiting family in Knoxville, TN in May. I love these earrings because they were around $20, are hypoallergenic, and look amazingly classy and expensive. I want my jewelry to look expensive and high quality but I don’t want to pay a lot for it so when I find a company that makes high quality but inexpensive jewelry that won’t make me break out in a rash, I’m sold.
This week I’m linking up with Tara at Penniless Socialite for Favorite Fashion Friday!
