Phew! A lot has been happening here. My husband and I bought a house (YAYYYYY!!!!) and we moved in three weeks ago. There’s so many boxes to unpack (how did we have so much stuff in our little apartment?) and so many things to buy (like curtains and curtain rods, toilet paper holders, a lawnmower, a washer and dryer). We have been running around like crazy. Of course, I’m loving it. I am so excited about all the decorating possibilities that come with buying our first home and getting settled (time to nest, for sure).
In the midst of all the excitement, we have been eating out a lot and ordering a lot of pizza. Couple that with less time to get to the gym and the humongous jar of jelly beans my husband bought me at Sam’s Club after a particularly long work week, and I’m feeling a bit doughy. I am excited to kickstart my workouts with Shape Magazine’s 4 Weeks to Fit program. I just stumbled upon this today and I like that it gives structure and planned workouts that are not too hard to actually do and keep up with.
So I am getting ready to commit to this workout plan over the next four weeks. Hope I can stick to it! Come on and join me too! It’s free and totally good for you (and good for feeling confident in shorts too).
