I think any mom really just wants five minutes alone. Maybe to listen to “5 Minutes Alone” (c’mon, I know other moms must listen to Pantera. Maybe to make a phone call. Most definitely to take a shower. Geeze, why is it so hard to shower daily when you have a small child? Sometimes I really just need some Me time. Even if that Me time is just to take a shower in peace without a toddler pulling back the curtain to say hi.
One of my favorite and simplest ways to press pause on the day and relish in a few minutes of me time is with Yardley soaps in the shower. Taking that shower is a way for me to relax, rejuvenate, and feel fresh as I step out and tackle the day. Yardley soaps are moisturizing, lightly fragranced, and packed with skin pampering ingredients. My new favorite is their new Creamy Coconut Moisturizing Bath Bar which has aloe, shea butter, and vitamin E combined with a light coconut scent that lathers well and keeps my skin soft.
Yardley soaps are only $.97 at Walmart and are also available at drug and grocery nationwide. They are a budget beauty staple and last a long time in the shower. Plus they are not overly fragranced so my husband likes to use it and it doesn’t irritate my skin with too much perfume. Yardley has been trusted by moms since 1770 for a few minutes of luxurious Me time whether in the bath or shower, so you can trust it when you lather up your toddler should they interrupt your Me time and climb into the shower with you.
